Biography

Fine line drawing and hidden geometry meet in the work of Jessica Albarn in prints with Nelly Duff via a complex process of litho proof pressing, hot foiling and embossing to create beautiful highly complex editions.
Jessica’s obsession is for all of God’s creatures, great and small, drawing out the beauty in them all- dead or alive! The artist is interested in the psychological dramas we project onto these taboo animals, their symbolism and the emotional tension that is held in their image.
Jessica has exhibited throughout the UK, and published a book of her drawings with Cederteg Publishing. The artist has also collaborated internationally, more recently with Helmut Lang.
