Biography

Sam Chivers is a master CMYK screen printer, a significant theme of his work seems to be realised by graphic separations and overlays. We think this work is some of the cleverest 4 colour screen-printing we have ever seen.

From a young age he was inspired by summer trips to France where the mountainous landscapes and his lack of knowledge of the language added to the potency of the experience. This combined with his love for comics, he found his way to art college where his fantasy art inspirations were seen by his lecturers as ‘akin to blasphemy’. But that didn’t stop him...
