Nelly Spring News

Watcha! Springtime Duffers,

How much do you know about the Birds and the Bees? Jessica Albarn could teach us a thing or two… get some pointers at the opening of the 3 day pop up show, opening view Thursday 8th April 6-9pm (RSVP) - it might fill in any missing gaps… plus we have 2 amazing new prints being released, the Balancing Bee and Chumawumba Eagle.

In other hand made news we have a lovely new wood cut from Patrick Thomas: Bewick's Fox and the mixed media Heart Target print. Lots of blood, sweat and tears have gone into these prints ; )

If you have ever noticed the hand painting on the exterior of Nelly Duff's Columbia Road home, we have a super rare edition of four different hand painted prints: Wim Toaster Vine, Wim Toaster Flower, Wim Toaster Roots & Wim Toaster Garland (editions of 2) by the Toaster and Mr Wim to commemorate such wonderful work.

Next up we are happy to welcome Mr Sam Chivers to the Nelly Duff camp with his super clever intricate CMYK screenprinting techniques, check out Crystal Virus here.

Another hot talent Nelly has been keeping under her online bonnet is Miss Stefi Orazi - Say hello to a daytime view of the BT Tower.

In lovely thick black oily lino cut news, the Black Rabbit, Bryce, Charm City & Ian have a new friend from Gaia in the shape of this hand-burnished, small edition of the huge and the magnificent Deny Me Three Times.

Thanks to everybody who came to Angelique Houtkamp's lovely Bona Drag show, check yourself out in some of the opening view images here on our blog.

Finally keeping it unreal, and with an eye on the future, we are looking to Kozyndan's show at the beginning of June, Uprisings will never cease.

Bench press for your bikini's and see you next Thursday at Miss Albarn's opening ; )
