Pop!
Dearest Gentle Folk,
It's been a wee while since Nelly has sent word and so thought she'd better not keep this news to herself!
We are happy to announce the long awaited follow up print '
Pop Goes the Weasel' by
Richard Ardagh & Graham Bignell lovingly printed on an age old letter-press in the good ol' East End.
Mr please please himself, the hardest working man in the Arts, please give it up for the amazing hand finished '
Pearly King Wing' print by
Mr Pure Evil. The original artwork in all its colourful glory was sprayed onto a wall at the inspirational Cans Festival, a small edition of 40 available from the gallery this weekend.
We have also been graced by some
Sweet Toof royalty in his second print for us;
Ruffneck. This hand crafted beauty is a linocut with an oil based ink and finished off with a watercolour ink wash. We also have some great new prints from
Phlash,
Mr. Wim, and king of simplicity
Anthony Burrill serves up some stonking statements.
Using her Midas touch,
Natalie Ferstendik has also produced her hotly awaited second print, a beautiful 5 colour screen print, finished off with some amazing gold foil blocking...
see it shimmer!
We are super pleased to introduce two great new artists to y'all. Firstly the queen of the supersized;
Tracy Kendall, who arguably makes the longest screen prints in the world! Check out her
6ft fork, feather or dandelion? Then last but by no means least we are really excited to introduce a brilliant new artist / printer called
Emma Jones, who caught our eye at her recent graduation show. Check out her stunning
Prussian Indigo Stags, this young lady literally paints as she prints...talent runs deep through her veins.
Speaking of stags, get out your 3D spec's and check out
Aida's 3D stag here ; )
That's it for now, look out for news from
Jessica Albarn,
Mr Bingo, Stefi Orazi and others soon, we bid you a biddy bye bye.
Love
Nellyx
