Jeff Koons is one of the most famous names in recent American art. Shooting to fame in the 80s, his straight-faced celebration of kitsch culture earned him global notoriety. Koons’ work is now accepted as emblematic of its generation, and as such has been the subject of numerous solo museum exhibitions – such as those seen at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Bilbao Guggenheim, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
In 2000, Eyestorm exclusively published a series of limited edition prints with Koons. Cut Out, Loopy and Hair were part of the artist’s 1999 collection of paintings collectively entitled ‘Easyfun’.
