Based in London, Oli Fowler explores graphic art and contemporary themes primarily within the medium of screenprint, although he eschews the idea of restricting himself to one medium, and includes illustration, photography and photomontage in his folio of talents.
A leading light in the urban art print making community, Fowler not only creates his own striking works but for the last five years has tutored professionals and amateurs alike in the process at Print Club London. When focusing on his own work, Fowler plays with composition, sharp edges and the electricity of pure CMYK colours to create standalone pieces that are imbued with edge, vibrance and just enough humour. Embracing rather than evading mistakes and imperfection, Fowler’s work is rich with personality, wit and a deep technical understanding of the medium of print.
Having exhibited across the UK, Fowler’s print talent has also been commissioned by the likes of Fraser Muggaridge and Jeremy Deller.
