Dave White’s Stag V

White described the way he paints as “very alive, organic and spontaneous.

There are drips and explosions that have always been there. I want to feed life into my imagery”.

Stag V is a striking image which beautifully illustrates the animal’s emotions, whilst it stares directly at the viewer demanding their attention. A 33 colour screen-print set against an epic diamond dust background, this is a truly special piece in the flesh.

Dave has enjoyed a growing success since the 90’s, having been selected for the Northern Graduates exhibition at the Royal College of Art in 1994, where he first exhibited animal portraiture. This was followed by an exhibition at Sotheby’s London to celebrate the Blue Cross centenary and continued with international solos shows and art fairs.
