We’ve all been spending a lot more inside recently, which has meant a lot of our most creative and design-savvy Duffers and Duffettes have been upgrading their spaces with some of our favourite Nelly artworks. If you’re on the hunt for some serious home inspo, look no further!

Artwork: ‘Life: Still (artist’s proof)‘ by Aida Wilde

 – DARK & STORMY –

East London print maker Aida Wilde’s ‘Life:Still’ screen print fits perfectly into Sharleen McMahon’s boudoir-esque living room at her Dorset home.

We also love the casual mantlepiece lean, we’re always leaning artworks on shelves and against surfaces, and its a great alternative to hanging your piece on nails if you aren’t confident with a hammer or are renting!

Artworks (from top left): ‘Becky‘ by Matt Small,’Full Flares‘ by Cosmo Sarson ‘Make Art Not War‘ by Shepard Fairey, ‘Black Swan‘ by Gaia, ‘No Good Reason‘ by Gary Stranger & Lilly Lou

 – A BRIGHT & COLOURFUL FAMILY HOME –

A home that’s stood the test of time, Anna Stark’s light and open North London home is a testament to timeless pieces and classic style. We first photographed Anna’s family home almost five years ago, but we still love it now just as much as we did then!

Artworks (from top): ‘Golden Lady‘ and ‘Wild at Heart I’ by Miss Van,’Indigo Muse I’ by Ramon Maiden x Miss Van, ‘I Built a House‘ by Angelique Houtkamp, ‘Celestial Bodies‘ by Kozyndan, ‘Skyrunners at Dusk’ by Brooklyn Whelan.

 – A MAXIMALIST SANCTUARY –

This beautiful home owned by Kate Revere and her family really is a shrine to some of our favourite artworks. Kate uses a mixture of large and small pieces to create layers and texture without being overwhelming while mixing pattern, colour and accent pieces – resulting in this welcoming (colourful!) haven.

Artwork: ‘Fantazma‘ by Aida Wilde

 – A BIRD IN PARADISE –

Sharleen McMahon’s penchant for Aida Wilde’s bold screen printed editions has paid off brilliantly, here another angle of her delightfully dark living room shows off Aida’s show-stopping ‘Fantazma’ contrasting beautifully with her blue walls.

Artwork (from top left): ‘Holding Pattern – Light‘ by Brooklyn Whelan, ‘Abstract World – Standard‘ by Soozy Lipsey, ‘Flamingo I – Hand Finished‘ by Dave White

– BOLD & BALANCED –

The boldly coloured South London home of Francesca Cameron maintains a feeling of contemporary tranquility through slick black frames and balanced curation. By using pink to tie her artworks together, Francesca manages to avoid a higgledy-piggledy feel and keep her space clean and serene.

We feel calmer just looking at this room!
