Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, London, with an MA in Graphic Design, Anthony Burrill’s voice has been getting louder and louder. Whether you have seen it proclaiming ‘Enough is Enough’ for the housing charity ‘Shelter’, or voicing a concern we all harbour: ‘Who Are You, What Do You Want?’ his iconic graphic letterpress prints are unapologetically voicing notions we should all be paying attention to.

Anthony Burrill's Process

With his work held in the permanent collections of the V&A, London, and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, New York, his committed presence as an unshakeable, comedic, engaging and informative icon in the UK’s design scene is indisputable. The careful selection and hand-pressing of each individual letter, as well as his consistently upbeat message proves that it is not only the London design world, as well as us here at Nelly Duff, who have taken Anthony’s now-famous advice ‘Work Hard and Be Nice To People’ on board.
