Released as a welcome follow up to Whelan’s 2019 exhibition at Nelly Duff, ‘Pressure’ – this edition embodies Whelan’s innate ability to combine chaos with serenity through colour and texture.‘Pressure’ 2019 is where Whelan debuted his now signature grey, pink and black colour palette, moving on from his older works that primarily featured pale blues and pinks. At 70cm x 70cm, this edition works brilliantly in any home, any size. Should you have more space to fill, ‘Pressure Redux 02’ was printed as the companion piece to this edition, and make a perfect diptych when hung together.
